The Problem with Stock Images...
A person I follow on Blogger had her first book published. I loved the cover, thought it fit the dystopian and vaguely mystical story very nicely. The image is memorable and exquisite, or so I thought. A number of other people seem to agree with me. I found three other covers (four if you count a variation of the upper right image where the artist added a naked man and wasn't particular about the arrangement. I think the bosom may be an add-on, as well. Proportionally speaking, it comes from a smaller body, and to fit the size of the head, the bosom would have to be bumping against the sides of the cover.
If you look, you can see how the color tones were adjusted (Upper left is darker, they brightened upper right.
No, I don't think these are by the same cover artist, since I strongly doubt anyone would use a cover image that they knew another had used. (I covered the book titles)
